GREEN VALLEY RANCH, CO – MAY 21: Homes in Green Valley Ranch east of Aurora CO suffered hail damage.
Hail piled more than a foot high on Tower Road stranding vehicles following heavy rain and hail storm.
The storm dropped large amounts of hail in the northeastern parts of the Denver area and Colorado’s Eastern Plains with hail, caused street flooding and, because of tornado warnings, closed Denver International Airport.
